Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou has emerged as the bookies’ favourite for the vacant Tottenham job.
Arne Slot, who won the Eredivisie with Feyenoord this season, had been the frontrunner to replace Antonio Conte after the Italian was sacked back in March.
But on Thursday morning he revealed with Feyenoord next year after holding crunch talks with his club on Wednesday in a huge blow to Spurs and chairman Daniel Levy.
‘I have been hearing a lot of rumours going around about other clubs’ interest in me.Although I am thankful, my wish is to stay at Feyenoord and continue working on what we created last year,’
‘Yesterday’s meeting was exclusively for an extension. All talks with the club have always been only in that sense.I’m looking forward to next season with Feyenoord.’
